The Primary Care and Health Systems Research Program investigates the accessibility, timeliness, equity and effectiveness of the primary and acute care systems.

Program scientists collaborate with data partners and researchers across Ontario, and have developed analytic methods to examine the patient experience, evaluate chronic disease management within primary care, measure the delivery, integration and coordination of care across the healthcare system and identify team structures that support quality primary care and care transitions.
