Biography
Dr. Maria Mathews holds a Canada Research Chair in Primary Healthcare and Health Equity and is a professor in the Department of Family Medicine and the Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics at Western University’s Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. She leads a program of research on primary healthcare with interconnecting themes of the health workforce; the organization, integration, and delivery of care; and healthcare in rural communities.
