ICES scientist Noah Ivers receives grant from Ontario Medical Foundation to study burnout

Congratulations to ICES adjunct scientist Dr. Noah Ivers on being awarded $42,500 to study solutions to the growing issue of physician burnout. This announcement comes as more physicians say they experienced some level of burnout during the pandemic.

His project will train family physicians to act as peer guides to help their colleagues address pain points in their workflow and find ways increase joy in their daily clinical practice.

Dr. Ivers is a scientist in the Primary Care & Health Systems research program at ICES. His research interests include knowledge translation, primary care/clinical practice, and healthcare program evaluation.
