CIHR Patient engagement training

CIHR offers four free e-modules:

  • 20-minute module that defines and introduces “public engagement”
  • 35-minute module that describes how patients can be involved in each research process step (and includes links to tangible tools)
  • 15-minute module that provides an overview of considerations for starting points
  • 35-minute module that outlines considerations and logistics for recruiting partners and provides tips for recognizing tokenism and addressing power imbalances
