ICES McMaster is a joint collaboration of ICES and McMaster University with its academic hospitals, Hamilton Health Sciences and St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. ICES McMaster officially launched on June 20, 2016 in a new 2,300 square-foot facility in the Health Sciences Centre on the main McMaster campus in Hamilton.
ICES McMaster comprises a community of local scientists, staff and students, and its central location on the main campus facilitates collaborative research opportunities across many disciplines and with its partner hospitals.

2021: Dr. Mehran Anvari was named an Officer of the Order of Canada for his exemplary leadership in the innovative field of telerobotic surgery.
2020: Awarded to Dr. Aaron Jones for "Moderating effects of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias on the influence of risk factors and health services on transitions in care: A longitudinal cohort study of care trajectories of home care patients using multistate transition models".
2020: Awarded to Dr. Rahul Chanchlani by Hamilton Health Sciences for the project "Deriving normative data on 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring among South-Asian children."
2019: Awarded to Dr. Aristithes Doumouras for the project "The effect of bariatric surgery on breast cancer incidence characteristics, outcomes and mortality" by The Research Institute of St. Joe's Hamilton.
2019: Awarded to Dr. Rahul Chanchlani by the Kidney Foundation for "Long-term kidney and heart outcomes after acute kidney injury among newborns and children."
2017: Awarded to Dr. Aaron Jones for "Investigating temporal associations between home care initiation and emergency department utilization in post-acute older adults".
2017: Awarded to Dr. Rahul Chanchlani by Hamilton Health Sciences for studying epidemiology and outcomes of acute kidney disease requiring dialysis among children.
2016: Dr. Mehran Anvari was appointed to the Order of Ontario for his contributions to the field of robotic surgery.
2016: Awarded to Dr. Hsien Seow for palliative care, cancer and health system innovation.
