Lee B. Lusted Student Prize

2010: Awarded to Dr. Beate Sander for outstanding presentation of research by the Society for Medical Decision Making (SMDM).

Kent Ueland Award

2010: Awarded to Dr. Samuel Siu at the First International Congress on Cardiac Problems in Pregnancy for outstanding contributions to teaching, research and clinical care.

Nursing Career Research Award

2010-2014: Awarded to Dr. Ann Tourangeau in the Nursing Senior Career Award Recipient category. The Nursing Secretariat at the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC) supports outstanding researchers in the province who are in the various stages of their careers, to carry out independent research in nursing services in Ontario. The overall goal of the program is to facilitate the development of nursing health systems research personnel in Ontario.

Ontario Ministry of Research and Innovation Early Researcher Award

2010-2015: Awarded to Dr. Suzanne Cadarette for Program of Drug Safety and Effectiveness Research.

American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Award

2010: Study by Dr. Paul Nathan on "Cancer screening in adult survivors of childhood cancer” selected as one of the “Major research advances in cancer treatment, prevention and screening” by ASCO.

American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Award

2008: Study by Dr. Paul Nathan on "Risk based care in survivors of childhood cancer" selected as one of the “Major research advances in cancer treatment, prevention and screening” by ASCO.

American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Merit Award

2003: Presented to Dr. Paul Nathan by ASCO.

CIHR New Investigator Award

2010: Awarded to Dr. Dan Hackam for Statins and Renovascular Disease

CIHR Fellowship in the area of health services-population health HIV-AIDS research

2010-2015 — Awarded to Claire Kendall with the aim of understanding HIV/AIDS as a chronic disease

Young Investigator Award

2009: Awarded to Dr. Doug Lee by the Canadian Cardiovascular Society for outstanding achievements in clinical science activities related to cardiovascular disease.
