Public Health Sciences Anthony Miller Award for Excellence in Research (Open)

2022/23: Awarded to Dr. Xiaolin Wei by the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. This award recognizes excellence in research including innovation in methods, findings, dissemination, and impact.

Canada Research Chair in Neurological Disorders and Brain Health (Tier II)

Graham Farquaharson Knowledge Translation Fellowship

2022: Awarded to Dr. Imaan Bayoumi by the PSI Foundation. This fellowship provides salary support for a new investigator who has demonstrated the ability to successfully complete high impact knowledge translation research. Read more.

Order of Canada

2021: Dr. Mehran Anvari was named an Officer of the Order of Canada for his exemplary leadership in the innovative field of telerobotic surgery.

Michael Gordon Award for Humanism in Medicine

2021: Awarded to Dr. Mona Loutfy by the University of Toronto. The award recognizes faculty members who exemplify a deep and lasting commitment to humanism in healthcare.

Medal of Honour

2021: Awarded to Dr. Astrid Guttmann by the Health Research Foundation. The award recognizes Dr. Guttmann’s leadership and dedication to improving child and youth health through population-based research on health program and policy performance. Read more.
