Arthritis Society Postdoctoral Award

2014: Awarded to Dr. Jessica Widdifield for her exploration into the causes and contributors of early death in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.

CIHR New Investigator Award

2014: Dr. Noah Ivers awarded 5 years of salary support as recipient of CIHR New Investigator Award in community-based primary healthcare.

University of Toronto Teaching Award

2014: Awarded to Dr. Matthew Stanbrook for excellence in clinical teaching in the respirology residency training program.

POWER Award

2014: Awarded to Dr. Catherine Birken for excellence in post-graduate teaching at the Hospital for Sick Children.

Physicians Services Incorporated (PSI) Foundation Resident Research Prize

2014: Awarded to Dr. Kristin Clemens for her paper “The hypoglycemic risk of Glyburide (Glibenclamide) compared with modified release Gliclazide: a population-based cohort study”. This prize is given each year by the PSI Foundation to encourage scholarly inquiry in residency programs.
