Research Award, Brain Injury Association of Canada

2010: Awarded to Dr. Angela Colantonio for her efforts and leadership on a number of research fronts including and not limited to traumatic brain injuries in the construction industry, homelessness and acquired brain injury and women and traumatic brain injury.

The Research Award is granted to an individual, group or organization for their outstanding contribution in research to advance the cause of acquired brain injury in Canada.

ORION Leadership Award

2010 — Awarded to Mehran Anvari by the Ontario Research and Innovation Optical Network for outstanding achievement and innovation using the ORION network and cloud services.

Ontario Ministry of Research and Innovation Early Researcher Award

2010-2015: Awarded to Dr. Suzanne Cadarette for Program of Drug Safety and Effectiveness Research.

CIHR New Investigator Award

2010: Awarded to Dr. Dan Hackam for Statins and Renovascular Disease

Kenneth R. Wilson Award

2009: Awarded to Dr. Matthew Stanbrook for best editorial for "Asbestos mortality: a Canadian export" published in CMAJ.

CIHR New Investigator Award

2009-2014: Awarded to Dr. Suzanne Cadarette in the area of aging and osteoporosis

Eminent Scientist of the Year Award

2008: Awarded to Dr. Teresa To in the field of Pediatrics and Community Health Research, by the International Research Promotion Council (IRPC). Dr. To was chosen based on her research excellence in community health and her unique research contribution to the control of asthma. The IRPC presents the World Scientists Forum awards annually to researchers whose work has significantly affected medical care globally, especially in developing nations.

Dales Award in Medical Research

2008-2011: Awarded to Dr. Teresa To by the University of Toronto, Life Sciences Committee.

CIHR New Investigator Recognition Prize

2008: Dr. Suzanne Cadarette awarded CIHR New Investigator Recognition Prize for Improving Medication Use, Healthcare and Quality of Life through Innovative Health Outcomes Research
