Labelle Lectureship in Health Services Research

2012: Awarded to Dr. Irfan Dhalla who spoke on "The virtual ward and other policy-relevant trials in healthcare".

Each year, the Labelle lectureship is awarded to a young investigator from any country who is engaged in multi-disciplinary health services research; is challenging existing methods or accepted ideas in health services and who will deliver a high-quality lecture that will appeal to an audience of broad interests.

2012-2014: Awarded to Dr. Irfan Dhalla for "A virtual ward to reduce readmissions after hospital discharge."

Canadian Society of Internal Medicine New Investigator Award

2012: Awarded to Dr. Irfan Dhalla for "A Virtual Ward to Improve Post-Hospital Care." The award is offered by the Canadian Society of Internal Medicine in recognition of excellence in the field of internal medicine research by a young investigator.

Association of Faculties of Pharmacy of Canada New Investigator Award

2012: Awarded to Dr. Suzanne Cadarette

Canadian Child Health Clinician Scientist Program (CCHCSP) Doctoral Award

2011 – 2015: Awarded to Dr. Rayzel Shulman for her project "An evaluation of a universal funding program for insulin pumps for youth with type 1 diabetes."

Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Physician Fellowship Award

2011-2014: Awarded to Dr. Iliana Lega for "The impact of metformin on breast cancer survival."

CIHR New Investigator Award

2011-2016: Dr. Baiju Shah is the recipient of a CIHR New Investigator Award to study the impact of language proficiency on stroke care.

Fellow, American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine

2011: Dr. Angela Colantonio elected Fellow of American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM). The Fellow of ACRM designation recognizes active members with an outstanding record of professional service to ACRM who have also made contributions of national significance to the field of medical rehabilitation.
