2013 – 2017: Awarded to Dr. David Alter over four years. The research topic is "Characterizing the adherence phenotypes of populations with cardiovascular disease: Applications for health services research and interventions."

Clinician Scientist Award, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada (Ontario)

2013: Dr. Dennis Ko was awarded a three year Phase II Clinician Scientist Award, by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada , Ontario branch. Dr. Ko's research title is "Improve the quality and outcomes of care of patients with cardiovascular diseases."

Heart and Stroke Foundation Career Investigator Award

Peter Austin is the recipient of a 2013 Heart and Stroke Foundation Career Investigator Award. Peter is developing statistical tools to help cardiovascular researchers.
