2010: Presented to Dr. John You for excellence in research by the Canadian Society of Internal Medicine (CSIM).

Kent Ueland Award

2010: Awarded to Dr. Samuel Siu at the First International Congress on Cardiac Problems in Pregnancy for outstanding contributions to teaching, research and clinical care.

Young Investigator Award

2009: Awarded to Dr. Doug Lee by the Canadian Cardiovascular Society for outstanding achievements in clinical science activities related to cardiovascular disease.

2009-2012: Awarded to Dr. David Gladstone for "Improving the detection and treatment of atrial fibrillation following transient ischemic attack and stroke".

Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario Clinician Scientist Award

2008-2011: Awarded to Dr. Gustavo Saposnik for "Premature Stroke Associated with Recency of Immigration to Ontario" (PRESARIO).

Silver Medal University of Toronto MD Program

2007: Awarded to Dr. Husam Abdel-Qadir by the University of Toronto MD program, class of 2007.

CIHR Knowledge Translation Award

2005: Awarded to Dr. Jack Tu.

Francis McNaughton Memorial Prize

2004: Awarded to Dr. David Gladstone by the Canadian Neurological Society for research by a neurology fellow for the article Physiotherapy Coupled With Dextroamphetamine for Rehabilitation After Hemiparetic Stroke A Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Trial.

Canadian Medical Association Award for Young Leaders

2004: Awarded to Dr. Chris Simpson. The award is presented to young physician leaders who have demonstrated exemplary dedication, commitment and leadership.
