2010-2013: EXTRA Fellow – Alison Paprica. The Executive Training Program (EXTRA) is a team-based fellowship in quality improvement and leadership led by the Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement.

Goldie Award

2013 — David Juurlink  received the Goldie Award from the Department of Medicine, University of Toronto. The award is given annually to a member of the Department who is within ten years of appointment to the Department and who has made a contribution of notable merit to the advancement of sound knowledge in Internal Medicine through research or teaching. Kidney Research Scientist Core Education and National Training Program (KRESCENT) Post-Doctoral Fellowship

2013 – 2015: $130,000 awarded to Dr. Amber Molnar for her project "The impact of acute kidney injury on the risk of death or graft loss in the renal transplant population."

CIHR New Investigator Award

2013 – 2018: Awarded to Dr. Jeff Kwong

Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (OICR) Investigator Award

2013-2018: Awarded to Dr. Craig Earle. The program provides stable recruitment and retention funding for principal investigators in Ontario, further strengthening the province’s cancer research capacity.

Mid-Career Investigator Heart and Stroke Foundation, Ontario

2013 – 2017: Awarded to Dr. David Alter over four years. The research topic is "Characterizing the adherence phenotypes of populations with cardiovascular disease: Applications for health services research and interventions."

Clinician Scientist Award, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada (Ontario)

2013: Dr. Dennis Ko was awarded a three year Phase II Clinician Scientist Award, by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada , Ontario branch. Dr. Ko's research title is "Improve the quality and outcomes of care of patients with cardiovascular diseases."

Mid-Career Investigator Heart and Stroke Foundation, Ontario

2013 – 2017: Awarded to Dr. Robert Fowler over four years. Dr. Fowler's research topic is "Improving end-of-life care for Canadians with heart disease and stroke."
