ICES Western
Officially launched in December 2012, ICES Western is a collaborative initiative of the Lawson Health Research Institute, Western University, London Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph’s Health Care London. Funding for the facility build was provided by the Academic Medical Organization of Southwestern Ontario, with ongoing operational funding provided by the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Lawson Health Research Institute and Western Research.
ICES Western is located at the London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital, and hosts the ICES Kidney, Dialysis & Transplantation Research Program.
We foster partnerships between researchers, health care providers, patients and health care administrators. For more information regarding research opportunities, including how to collaborate with an ICES Western scientist or become an ICES scientist, please visit Information for Researchers. ICES Western also supports graduate students who wish to conduct research using the health and health-related data holdings at ICES. Please visit Information for Students to learn more about becoming an ICES student.
ICES Western produces an annual newsletter featuring its publications and detailing the impact of the work done by our community of scientists, researchers and trainees.
