Share

Summary

As part of the Newborn Screening Ontario Advisory Council’s nomination of biliary atresia as a target for newborn screening, this project sought to understand the current status of the disease in the province and identify likely benefits and potential risks. The findings will inform health system performance and sustainability and community-based care and help to develop a definition for a preferred model of care.
