Mentor Award

2020: Presented to Dr. Nancy Baxter by the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons Research Foundation. This award recognizes a member of the Society who has made outstanding contributions to the education and career development of trainees and other colleagues.

Canadian Association of Gastroenterology (CAG) Visiting Research Professorship

2020: Awarded to Dr. Linda Rabeneck. The award is presented to a member of CAG who is a proven teacher and an outstanding researcher.

Dr. Maurice McGregor Award

2020: Presented to Dr. Kelvin Chan by CADTH. The award recognizes early career rising stars in health technology assessment.

Henry J. M. Barnett Scholarship

2020: Awarded to Dr. Amy Yu by the Heart and Stroke Foundation for the project "Determining sex disparities In Stroke Care and Outcomes to optimize recoVERy (DISCOVER)". The prize is given annually to a highly rated cerebrovascular research investigator.

Heart & Stroke National New Investigator Award

2020: Awarded to Dr. Amy Yu for the project "Determining sex disparities In Stroke Care and Outcomes to optimize recoVERy (DISCOVER)". This award provides salary support to individuals who have clearly demonstrated excellence during their doctoral and post-doctoral training in cerebrovascular research.

Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarships Doctoral Award

2020: Awarded to Lucy Barker by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.

CIHR COVID-19 Rapid Research Funding Opportunity

2020: Awarded to Dr. Angela Jerath for the project "Sedating With Volatile Anesthetic Agents in Critically Ill COVID-19 Patients in ICU: Effects On Ventilatory Parameters And Survival (The SAVE-ICU trial)".
