Outstanding Teaching Award

June 2013: Presented to Dr. Kelvin Chan for teaching in the Medical Oncology Training Program, Sunnybrook Hospital.

Heart and Stroke Foundation Career Investigator Award

Peter Austin is the recipient of a 2013 Heart and Stroke Foundation Career Investigator Award. Peter is developing statistical tools to help cardiovascular researchers. Randall Coates Epidemiology Prize

2013: Awarded to Dr. Beth Rachlis by the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. The prize is awarded to current or graduating student in the Division of Epidemiology whose research is in the area of communicable diseases and demonstrates academic excellence.

CIHR Doctoral Award

2013-2018: Awarded to Dr. Rachel Savage for "Importation of infectious diseases through travel and immigration in Ontario"

Fellow of The Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS)

2013: Dr. Michael Carter elected as Fellow of INFORMS for being a pioneer in the application of the methodologies of Operations Research and Management Sciences to the healthcare sector, and for his contributions to this field including improved service delivery, reduced costs, and increased efficiency.

Awarded to Sacha Bhatia

Arthur E. Weyman Young Investigator’s Award

2013: Awarded to Sacha Bhatia for "An educational intervention reduces the rate of inappropriate transthoracic echocardiograms in ambulatory care"

CIHR Clinician Scientist Award

2013-2016: Awarded to Dr. Doug Lee.

CIHR New Investigator Prize of Excellence in Research on Aging
