Heart & Stroke National New Investigator Award

2020: Awarded to Dr. Jodi Edwards for the project "Risk assessment for women's heart and brain health across the lifespan". This award provides salary support to individuals who have clearly demonstrated excellence during their doctoral and post-doctoral training in cerebrovascular research.

American Heart Association Vivien Thomas Young Investigator Award finalist

2018: Dr. Louise Sun is a finalist for the Vivien Thomas Young Investigator Award. The award acknowledges the accomplishments of early career investigator members of the Council on Cardiovascular Surgery and Anesthesia (CVSA) who are focusing on fundamental and applied surgical research.

Clarivate Analytics Highly Cited Researchers 2017

2017: Dr. Jeremy Grimshaw was selected by Clarivate Analytics as one the most highly cited researchers of 2017. This annual list identifies researchers who have published a high number of papers that rank within the top 1% of most-cited works in their field during its year of publication.
