Victor Marchessault Advocacy Award

2024: Awarded to Dr. Natasha Saunders by the Canadian Paediatric Society. The award honours individuals or organizations who have made outstanding contributions to Canada’s children and youth at the local, provincial, or national level.

Increasing Capacity for Maternal and Paediatric Clinical Trials (IMPaCT) Early Career Researcher Award

2024: Awarded to Dr. Peter Gill. IMPaCT is a clinical trials training platform funded by the Canadian Institutes for Health Research.

Alvarenga Prize

2023: Awarded by the Swedish Medical Association to Dr. Giulia Muraca in recognition of a paper of important clinical value for the article: “Risk of postpartum hemorrhage with increasing first stage of labor duration”.

Canadian National Perinatal Research Meeting Early Career Researcher Award

2023: Awarded to Dr. Giulia Muraca.

Emerging Academic Leader Award

2023: Awarded to Dr. Peter Gill by the Paediatric Chairs of Canada. The award recognizes a faculty member who’s demonstrated great initiative and leadership, early in their career. Emerging leaders understand the power of influence without authority, position or title and demonstrate good judgement and show initiative.

Young Investigator Award

2023: Awarded to Dr. Peter Gill by the Canadian Paediatric Society. The award recognizes basic or clinical research accomplishments of a young investigator in fields that benefit child and youth health.

Early Career Researcher of the Year Award – Public Health and Epidemiology
