ICES faculty scholar Joy MacDermid has been named a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, one of 93 elected by their peers for outstanding scholarly, scientific and artistic achievement. MacDermid has led trials and applied methods to synthesize research that has had an impact on policy and practice in the area of musculoskeletal health.
