By the end of this presentation participants should be able to:

  1. Discuss the variation in incidents of concussion in Ontario by region, age group, sex and other demographic factors
  2. Discuss premorbid factors that may be used to predict those requiring prolonged healthcare after concussion including a post-concussion risk tool that has been developed
  3. Discuss variation and access to care for those with more moderate and severe traumatic brain injury.
