Summary: In accordance with the Ontario Public Health Standards, the Region of Peel requests prevalence and incidence data for several chronic diseases, including diabetes, COPD, ischemic heart disease and asthma, to update its website presentation of population health data for staff and stakeholders. The research evidence will be used to make decisions regarding the planning, implementation and delivery of public health programs.
