Impact of COVID-19 on mental health outcomes and utilization in vulnerable populations
Summary
There is a lack of research evidence to describe the impact that COVID-19 has had on the mental health of vulnerable populations, including people who are in receipt of Ontario Social Assistance. This evaluation will involve the monitoring, over time, of mental health indicators for Ontario residents who are recipients of social assistance and determine any COVID-19 related changes. These results will help inform the Ministry of Children, Community, and Social Services (MCCSS) on planning mental health-related service delivery and outreach/engagement activities for social assistance recipients.
