Staff Scientist ICES Western Chronic Disease & Pharmacotherapy Research Program

Stephanie Dixon joined ICES in 2012 and is currently a staff scientist in the Kidney, Dialysis and Transplantation (KDT) Program. Her work is supported by a multi-year grant from CIHR’s Strategy for Patient-Oriented Research (SPOR) Innovative Clinical Trial, where she is developing and applying methods for the design and analysis of cluster randomization trials. To date, Dr. Dixon’s research has focused on supporting research within KDT and for a key knowledge user, the Ontario Renal Network (ORN). This multi-disciplinary work has motivated her statistical research plan, which concentrates on methods for administrative health data involving time-to-event and correlated data. Dr. Dixon is also an associated graduate faculty in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Guelph and an adjunct research associate professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Western University.
