Dr. Sanjay Mahant is a paediatrician and hospitalist in the Division of Paediatric Medicine, Hospital for Sick Children and a professor in the Department of Paediatrics, University of Toronto. He is a senior associate scientist, in the Child Health Evaluative Sciences Program in the SickKids Research Institute. His research program focuses on outcomes research and improving the evidence base, care, and outcomes of hospitalized children. He co-founded the Canadian Paediatric Inpatient Research Network (PIRN) and is a co-lead of GEMINI-Paediatrics, a data-analytic networks of over 30 Ontario hospitals.
