2012-2017: Awarded to Dr. Geoffrey Nguyen for "Clinical management and long-term outcomes of venous thromboembolism in inflammatory bowel disease: a population-based assesment."
2012: A two-year award to Dr. Girish Kulkarni for the project "Biopsy avoidance in patients at risk for prostate cancer and in patients with low risk prostate cancer: developing tools for personalized medicine."
2012: Awarded to Dr. Susan Brogly by the Boston University School of Public Health for teaching in infectious disease epidemiology.
2012-2017: Awarded to Dr. Gustavo Saposnik for "Efficacy of virtual reality exercises using Wii gaming technology in stroke rehabilitation: a multicentre randomized clinical trial (EVEREST multicentre)".
2012: Awarded to Dr. An-Wen Chan. The award is presented to a new investigator with the highest nationally ranked Grant-in-Aid research application. Dr. Chan was given the award for his research on Burden of cancer after lung transplantation.
