2015: Awarded to Dr. Lorraine Lipscombe by the department of medicine at the University of Toronto. Dr. Lipscombe was recognized for her research on the prevention, care and outcomes of diabetes, with a specific focus on diabetes in women.
2015: Awarded to Dr. Michelle Greiver for Research Excellence (Junior) in the area of primary care research.
2015: Awarded to Dr. Tetyana Kendzerska for her project "Modifiable effect of co-existence of obstructive airway diseases (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, and obstructive sleep apnea): evidence from clinical and health administrative data"
2014-2015: Awarded to David Urbach and Nancy Baxter for their article “Introduction of Surgical Safety Checklists in Ontario, Canada" for its relevance to health services and policy research, as well as for the extent to which they contribute to the advancement of this field of research in Canada and have an impact on policy.
2015: Presented to Dr. Jack Tu. The award, established in 1989, recognizes a member of the Department of Medicine who has demonstrated sustained excellence as a scientist and role model over several years.
2015: The American Thoracic Society (ATS) Assembly on Behavioral Science and Health Services Early Career Achievement Award recipient Andrea Gershon for her scientific contributions in the area of lung disease.
2015: Awarded to Dr. Jacques Raphael for the paper "Effect of tumor infiltrating lymphocytes and stromal CD68 on trastuzumab benefit in early stage HER2 positive breast cancer."
2015: Awarded to Dr. Samuel Siu by University of Western Ontario Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry for excellence in academic endeavour, with emphasis on excellent performance in research.
2015-2019: Awarded to Dr. Greg Knoll by the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa in Clinical Transplantation Research
2015: Awarded to Dr. Sonia Grandi by the American Heart Association
