2019: Canada Research Chair in Population Cancer Care awarded to Dr. Chris Booth for research on Achieving Better Outcomes for Patients with Cancer.
2019: Canada Research Chair in Drug Policy Research and Evaluation awarded to Dr. Tara Gomes by CIHR.
2019: Dr. Lauren Lapointe-Shaw was awarded the CIHR-IHSPR Rising Star Award for "Death and readmissions after hospital discharge during the December holiday period: cohort study" published in the BMJ.
2019: Article of the Year awarded to Dr. Gina Agarwal. Dr. Agarwal led the winning article: Evaluation of a community paramedicine health promotion and lifestyle risk assessment program for older adults who live in social housing: a cluster randomized trial, published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal.
2019: Awarded to Dr. Jennifer Watt for the paper "Comparative risk of harm associated with trazodone or atypical antipsychotic use in older adults with dementia: a retrospective cohort study."
