2024-28: Awarded to Dr. Danielle Nash by CIHR-IHSPR. The award enables Dr. Nash to collaborate with the Ontario Renal Network to conduct research focusing on improving the quality of care for patients living with chronic kidney disease and to advance the Ontario Renal Network’s learning health system.
2023: Awarded to Dr. Sheikh Abdullah for projects on high-throughput computing and machine learning, highlighting its impact and innovation in large-scale data analysis.
2023: Awarded to Dr. Kristin Clemens by the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. Dr. Clemens is the recipient of the 2023 Dean's Award of Excellence for early career faculty in research and innovation.
2022-2027: Dr. Gregory Hundemer appointed as the first Lorna Jocelyn Wood Chair for Kidney Research at The Ottawa Hospital.
2021: Awarded to Dr. Sheikh Abdullah for the project Identifying high-risk medications associated with kidney diseases in older patients: a visual analytics approach.
2021: Awarded to Dr. Amit Garg by Western University. The prize is the university’s highest distinction for sustained excellence in research.
2020-2025: Awarded to Dr. Greg Knoll by the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa in Clinical Transplantation Research
2020: Awarded to Dr. Rahul Chanchlani by Hamilton Health Sciences for the project "Deriving normative data on 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring among South-Asian children."
