2015-2019: Awarded to Dr. Greg Knoll by the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa in Clinical Transplantation Research
2015: Awarded to Dr. Amit Garg. The medal honours the achievement of individuals who have made significant contributions to the field of kidney disease and extended the goals of the National Kidney Foundation. The foundation president presents medals each year to recognize the accomplishments of individuals through their clinical work, roles in academia, scientific discoveries or volunteer work in organizations similar to the foundation.
2014: Awarded to Dr. Kristin Clemens for her paper “The hypoglycemic risk of Glyburide (Glibenclamide) compared with modified release Gliclazide: a population-based cohort study”. This prize is given each year by the PSI Foundation to encourage scholarly inquiry in residency programs.
2013: The Ottawa Hospital appointed Dr. Manish Sood to this prestigious chair for kidney research.
2013 – 2015: $130,000 awarded to Dr. Amber Molnar for her project "The impact of acute kidney injury on the risk of death or graft loss in the renal transplant population."
2013 – 2015: $40,000 awarded to Dr. Amber Molnar.
2010-2014: Awarded to Dr. Greg Knoll by the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa in Clinical Transplantation Research
2009 – 2011: Awarded to Dr. Salimah Shariff. The scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate a high standard of achievement in undergraduate and early graduate studies.
2008: Awarded to Dr. S. Joseph Kim by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
2004: Awarded to Dr. S. Joseph Kim by the Kidney Foundation of Canada
