Physicians Services Incorporated (PSI) Foundation Resident Research Prize

2014: Awarded to Dr. Kristin Clemens for her paper “The hypoglycemic risk of Glyburide (Glibenclamide) compared with modified release Gliclazide: a population-based cohort study”. This prize is given each year by the PSI Foundation to encourage scholarly inquiry in residency programs.

Kidney Research Scientist Core Education and National Training Program (KRESCENT) Post-Doctoral Fellowship

2013 – 2015: $130,000 awarded to Dr. Amber Molnar for her project "The impact of acute kidney injury on the risk of death or graft loss in the renal transplant population."

University of Ottawa Department of Medicine Research Fellowship Award

2013 – 2015: $40,000 awarded to Dr. Amber Molnar.

Tier 1 Research Chair Award

2010-2014: Awarded to Dr. Greg Knoll by the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa in Clinical Transplantation Research

CIHR Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarship

2009 – 2011: Awarded to Dr. Salimah Shariff. The scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate a high standard of achievement in undergraduate and early graduate studies.

Clinician-Scientist Award

2008: Awarded to Dr. S. Joseph Kim by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.

Dr. Leen Paul Kidney Transplantation Fellowship
