Topic: From research to program evaluation: using administrative data for the development, implementation and evaluation of the RESPECT algorithm

  1. Appreciate the limitations of current approaches to identifying patients who would benefit from palliative care.
  2. Learn about the use of a system-level approach, using health administrative data, to identifying patients nearing the end of life with potentially unmet palliative needs, develop clinical decision tools, and support the evaluation of these tools in real-world settings.
