Biography

Dr. Douglas Lee is a staff cardiologist at the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre of the University Health Network, the Ted Rogers Chair in Heart Function Outcomes, and a professor of medicine at the University of Toronto. He is the cardiovascular program lead at ICES. He obtained his MD and completed postgraduate training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at the University of Toronto. He then completed a PhD in the section of Clinical Epidemiology in the Department of Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation at the University of Toronto, and a post-doctoral fellowship at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute’s Framingham Heart Study.
