Biography
Dr. Richard Booth is an associate professor in the Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing at Western University, and a clinician researcher with an active research program exploring psychiatric-mental health nursing, health informatics, and human-technical relationships. He is interested in convergence of data, technology, and people as related to generating deeper insights to inform mental health practice and policy. He has a particular interest in the use of data to generate insights related to the intersectional nature of mental illness, housing, and other societal factors that contribute to understandings of health. Dr. Booth currently holds both provincial and federal grants, and supervises graduate students at the masters and doctoral levels.
