How many Ontarians could be telethrombectomized? A practical analysis of current geographical constraints which could be overpassed with remote robotic telethrombectomy
Summary
Project ID: 2021-991/ TRIM 2024 0970 352 000
Principal Investigator: Vitor Pereira
Description: Considering the new possibilities which could be offered by tele-robotics in the near future, it is now necessary to analyze each regional stroke network in order to identify where such resources could be the most useful. The project team seeks to conduct a pragmatic study using a model of different population centers (PC) in Ontario. The aim of this work is to analyze the Ontario stroke network and main demographics to identify which stroke center would benefit the most from tele-robotics EVT.
