Description: The objective of this study is to determine the direct healthcare costs of pituitary adenomas and patient characteristics of drivers of health care spending using a propensity-score based model. Disease-specific expenditures would be linked through unique Ontario’s health administrative databases, including hospital records from acute care (inpatient acute, and same day surgery); emergency department; physician billings; and outpatient drug prescriptions.
