Summary: Numbers of admissions into 3 hospitals (St. Michael’s, St. Joseph’s, and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre) were requested to aid in the preparation of pandemic planning for the COVID-19 outbreak. These data will be used to anticipated admissions/hospitalizations within these acute care facilities and guide surge planning using post-SARS research and emergency planning measures.
