Summary
GeriMedRisk is a virtual geriatric consultation service that interprofessional consults from a wide variety of specialties to assist Ontario clinicians to optimize their older adults’ medications. The Knowledge User is interested to learn how GeriMedRisk patients compare to a random sample of Ontario adults aged 65 and older who have not been referred to GeriMedRisk in order to address gaps in access related to patient characteristics or geographic location. The proposed research will also help evaluate the impact of the program on adverse health outcomes, and support overall primary and long-term care across Ontario.
