Summary
As part of the Choosing Wisely Hospital Performance Series, an initiative intended to reduce unnecessary pre-operative testing and treatments in the hospital, the knowledge user is seeking a refresh of the data to identify opportunities to reduce the tests for low-risk surgeries. The data collected will be used to refine existing processes and models of pre-operative care by lowering the number of pre-operative tests conducted, thereby reducing wait times and costs.
