Summary
Ad hoc reports suggest that patients undergoing cardiac surgery during the COVID-19 pandemic have been at greater than usual short-term mortality risk. This AHRQ will compare the characteristics and outcomes of patients undergoing cardiac surgery before versus during the pandemic.
