Baseline characteristics, ICU resource utilization, and clinical outcomes for patients with confirmed COVID-19 in Ontario
Summary
In anticipation of an emerging second wave of COVID-19 cases in Ontario, the Ontario Critical Care COVID Command Centre is preparing the necessary system-level response. This research report, using the Critical Care Information System (CCIS) dataset, will detail the baseline characteristics, ICU resource utilization, and clinical outcomes of patients in the first wave. The evidence collected will be used to describe the effects of the virus, provide prognostic information for future patients and fill essential gaps in critical care.
