Geographic Access to Primary Care and Hospital Services for Rural and Northern Communities: Report to the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care

Almost 2.6 million Ontarians live in rural and northern communities of 30,000 or fewer people. What kind of access do these residents have to primary care providers, emergency departments, and hospitals providing obstetrical care and specialized services within 30, 60 and 240 minutes of travel time by car?
