Claire de Oliveira is a health economist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, an assistant professor at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation, University of Toronto, and an adjunct scientist at ICES. In addition, she is the expert lead in cancer economics at the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer, an associate member of the Canadian Centre for Applied Research in Cancer Control and one of the program leads for Health Technology Assessment, and collaborator at the Toronto Health Economics Technology Assessment Collaborative.
She holds a Licentiate degree in economics from the University of Oporto, Portugal, an M.A. in economics from McMaster University and a Ph.D. in economics from McMaster University. Her main areas of research are in health economics and health services research applied to mental health and addictions, cancer and child health.
