2023: Dr. Anne Bassett was recognized for her research and clinical contributions to advancing our understanding of the genetics of schizophrenia, particularly in the identification and characterization of genetic subtypes of the disorder.

Lieber Prize for Outstanding Achievement in Schizophrenia Research

2020: Dr. Anne Bassett was awarded by the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation (formerly NARSAD) for her contributions in schizophrenia research. Only one other Canadian has received this honour.

Canada Research Chair in Schizophrenia Genetics and Genomic Disorders (Tier 1)

2009-2016: Dr. Anne Bassett was the Canada Research Chair (CRC) in Schizophrenia Genetics and Genomic Disorders (Tier 1). Tier 1 CRCs are for outstanding researchers acknowledged by their peers as world leaders in their fields.
