ICES brings together the best and brightest scientific talent. Many of our scientists are internationally recognized in their fields and receive national and international awards and recognition for their important work.
2018: Dr. Simone Vigod appointed for a five year term. The chair is based at Women’s College Hospital (WCH), in collaboration with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) at the University of Toronto.
2016: Awarded to Dr. Simone Vigod by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and Ontario Medical Association at the Innovation Fund Showcase. Dr. Vigod received the award for her tool to identify psychiatric inpatients at risk for early rehospitalisation, called READMIT.
2015: Awarded to Dr. Simone Vigod for epidemiology and treatment of maternal mental illness. Dr. Vigod’s research will aim to optimize care for mothers with mental illness and improve maternal and child outcomes.
