Dr. Moira Stewart awarded for contributions to primary care research
ICES adjunct scientist Moira Stewart will receive the Maurice Wood Award for Lifetime Contribution to Primary Care Research from the North American Primary Care Research Group at its annual meeting in Montreal later this month. Dr. Stewart is distinguished university professor emeritus at the Centre for Studies in Family Medicine at Western University, and she holds the Dr. Brian W. Gilbert Canada Research Chair in Primary Healthcare Research. Her research focus at ICES includes primary care/clinical practice, health services and healthcare quality, and chronic diseases and conditions.
