Ontario Stroke Evaluation Report 2012: Prescribing System Solutions to Improve Stroke Outcomes

This report, which includes findings from the 2011 Ontario Stroke Audit, provides a comprehensive review of progress made in the provision of stroke care across the province from 2003/04 to 2010/11. The report examines variations in stroke care and services by healthcare sector, including emergency department care, acute inpatient care, inpatient rehabilitation, complex continuing care, long-term care and home care services.

Report cards that grade progress in the delivery of stroke care for each of Ontario’s 14 Local Health Integration Networks are presented in Appendix B (AODA compliant) of the main report and as a separate document (non-AODA compliant) below.
