Biography

Dr. Tea Rosic, MD, PhD, FRCPC, was appointed as an adjunct scientist in 2025. She is a child and adolescent psychiatrist at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) and clinician-investigator at the CHEO Research Institute. Dr. Rosic obtained her PhD in health research methodology at McMaster University where she also completed her residency training in psychiatry. She is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Rosic’s primary area of clinical practice is in adolescent substance use and concurrent disorders. Her research program aims to better understand the development, prevention, and management of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders (concurrent disorders) in young people. She has an interest in health services research in child mental health and concurrent disorders across the lifespan.
