Summary
Oral surgery is the most common day surgery for children <6. Generally, these surgeries involve some medication after surgery. Previously it has been hard to attribute medications to oral health issues. Our AHRQ is to understand the costs to the health care system with earlier preventative dental care supports our Dental & Oral Health program planning.
