Allocation of physicians to mental healthcare of children and youth by MCYS service areas (physician FTEs mental health C&Y)
Summary
The Ministry of Children and Youth Services has provided “children and youth mental health core services” resource allocation data to the Ontario Child Health Study team. The information requested here will be compared and correlated to the allocation data to understand which resources for child and youth mental health services in Ontario are being allocated according to need. The study findings may influence evidence-informed practices with regard to government funding, resource allocation and planning for future child and youth mental health services.
