Biography

Dr. Ahmed Al-Jaishi is a research scientist at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, adjunct professor in the department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Western University, and adjunct scientist with ICES. Dr. Al-Jaishi completed his PhD in Health Research Methodology at McMaster University in 2021, where his dissertation focused on methodological considerations for conducting registry-based cluster-randomized controlled trials in hemodialysis. He earned his Master of Science in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Western University in 2013 and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Guelph in 2010.

Dr. Al-Jaishi’s research focuses on methodologies for pragmatic randomized controlled trials, with a particular emphasis on cluster randomized designs. He has been involved in national and international clinical trials and epidemiological studies. He is committed to training the next generation of leaders in epidemiology and biostatistics by providing hands-on experience with advanced statistical methods.
